One of the biggest misconceptions surrounding Lyme disease is that a positive test automatically means your dog has active Lyme disease.

It doesn’t.

Most veterinary clinics use a screening test such as the 4DX or AccuPlex.

These tests are excellent screening tools, but they are exactly that—screening tools.
