The Well Oiled K9 Support Community
A calmer place to ask, “What else can I do for my dog?”
You love your dog.
You want to make better choices.
You want a community of dog moms like yourself. Just trying to do your best — when something comes up to care for your dog.
You’re trying to figure out food, allergies, gut issues, anxiety, senior dog changes, natural remedies, supplements, products, and all the little “is this normal?” moments that come up when you’re trying to support your dog naturally.
And honestly?
It can get overwhelming fast.
Then you search online and somehow end up with 37 tabs open and no real plan.
That is exactly why I created The Well Oiled K9 Support Community.
Not as another pile of information you’re supposed to read.
As a place to get support, ask better questions, stay proactive, and learn what to look at next.
This is not just a library.
Yes, there are guides.
Yes, there are resources.
Yes, there are classes, protocols, and member-only posts.
But the real value is not having more information.
The real value is learning how to use it.
Inside the community, I help dog parents slow down, sort through the noise, and understand what may matter first.
Sometimes that means a simple food change.
Sometimes it means looking at the gut.
Sometimes it means supporting the nervous system.
Sometimes it means checking the fat level, reading the label, asking a better vet question, or realizing your dog needs deeper private support.
The point is not to do everything.
The point is to know where to start.
What this community is for
The Well Oiled K9 Support Community is for dog parents who want a more grounded, natural, whole-dog way to think through their dog’s wellness.
It is for you if:
You want better answers than random Facebook advice
You are curious about fresh food, raw feeding, gently cooked meals, supplements, herbs, essential oils, homeopathy, CBD, gut support, and natural wellness
Your dog has allergies, itching, yeast, loose stool, anxiety, senior dog changes, or recurring “something is off” moments
You’ve already worked with me and want a lower-cost way to stay connected, reminded, and proactive
You are new here and want to get to know how I think before booking private support
You want seasonal reminders, simple protocols, and practical next steps
You want a place to bring questions that may not need a full private consult, but deserve more thought than internet roulette
This is where we talk through the “what else can I do?” moments.
Weekly live support with Dana
The heart of this community is weekly live group support.
Each week, I’ll host a live Zoom call where members can submit questions, listen in, learn from other dog parents, and get practical direction.
These calls are not formal lectures.
They are more like office hours with me.
We may talk about food, gut health, allergies, supplements, anxiety, senior dog comfort, natural remedies, product labels, recovery support, or seasonal wellness.
Some weeks may have a theme.
Some weeks may be driven by member questions.
Some weeks may be a little bit of both.
Either way, the goal is the same: help you understand what to look at next.
Tuesday live support schedule
To make this easier for different schedules, live support will be offered on Tuesdays with both lunch and evening options.
The plan is:
Two Tuesday Lunch & Learn calls each month
Two Tuesday evening support calls each month
This gives members more chances to participate live.
If you are working during the day, you can join an evening call.
If evenings are busy, you can join a lunch call.
If you cannot attend live, you can catch the replay.
The goal is access, not perfection.
Choose the community space that works for you
Some people love Facebook.
Some people do not.
So I’m giving members options.
You’ll have access to:
A private Facebook group for members who prefer Facebook
Substack Chat for members who prefer that space
Zoom live support calls
Replays and resources on Youtube.
The Facebook group is there for connection, discussion, reminders, and the members who naturally check Facebook.
Substack Chat is also available and remains a quieter option for organized discussion.
Neither space is private 1:1 coaching.
Please do not use private messages, direct email, or text for membership support.
Questions should be posted in the community spaces or submitted for the weekly live calls so everyone can learn.
What you can ask about
Members can ask general education and support questions around topics like:
Fresh food and food transitions
Raw or gently cooked feeding
Kibble upgrades and toppers
Homemade food questions
Food labels and ingredient concerns
Allergies, itching, yeast, and skin support
Gut health, loose stool, and digestive support
Anxiety, nervous system support, and calming options
Senior dog wellness and comfort
Supplements, herbs, homeopathy, essential oils, CBD, and natural remedies
Seasonal support
Product questions
“My vet recommended this — what should I understand?”
“Which guide should I start with?”
“Does this need a private consult?”
Sometimes I can answer directly.
Sometimes I will point you to a guide, replay, class, or resource.
Sometimes I will say, “This deserves a deeper look.”
That is part of the value too.
For past clients
If we’ve already worked together, this community gives you a way to stay connected without booking a private consult every time something small comes up.
You may not need me every day.
But you may appreciate:
Monthly wellness reminders
Seasonal protocols
Product updates
Food and supplement discussions
Replay access
A place to ask smaller follow-up questions
A way to stay proactive
A lower-cost support option between private sessions
This helps you keep going instead of drifting back into old habits, guessing, or waiting until something becomes a bigger issue.
For new members
If you are brand new to me, the community is a lower-cost way to get to know my approach.
You can listen to live calls, ask focused questions, learn from other dog parents, and see how I think through food, symptoms, supplements, natural remedies, and whole-dog wellness.
You will quickly learn that I am not a spray-and-pray responder.
I’m going to ask better questions.
What is your dog eating?
What changed?
What medications are involved?
What has already been tried?
Is this acute or chronic?
What system may need support?
Is this simple, or does your dog deserve a deeper review?
That is how trust is built.
You do not have to book a private package to start learning how I think.

What this community is not
This community is supportive, but it is not unlimited private access to me.
It is not:
Private case management
Emergency support
Custom diet formulation
Lab interpretation
Medication guidance
A replacement for veterinary care
Unlimited 1:1 coaching
A place to send private messages, direct emails, or texts for support
Some questions are perfect for the community.
Some questions require a Wellness Roadmap or private support package.
If your dog’s situation is complex, chronic, urgent, or changing quickly, I’ll tell you kindly and clearly when a deeper review is needed.
That protects you, your dog, and the quality of support I provide.
My goal
My goal is not to make you dependent on me.
My goal is to help you become a better observer, a better question-asker, and a more confident advocate for your dog.
I want you to understand what may matter first.
I want you to know when something is simple and when it is not.
I want you to feel supported without feeling buried.
And I want you to have a place to ask better questions than the ones that get tossed around in Facebook comment sections.
